Dr. Derrick Drakeford

.~~Dr. Derrick Drakefordis a Social Entrepreneur and the CEO of Drakeford, Scott, & Associates L.L.C. The DSA team of experts has raised over $45,000,000 in grants. Derrick has served as an Instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel-Hill. Derrick is a former faculty member of North Carolina Central University in the Masters in Public Administration program. He also served as the Director of Freshmen Studies and Community Service at The Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. Derrick has consulted with nonprofits, business, and churches for 20 years. He holds a Bachelors in political science from Bethune-Cookman University, a Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Government. He holds a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work; and certificates in Proposal Writing and Fundraising for Nonprofits from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana -Purdue University. Derrick received his Ph.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill's School of Education. He has written three books: 1)Finding Your Purpose in 15 Minutes,2) Fundraising for Nonprofits What the Bible Says," and 3) Starting Your Business from the Unemployment Line"
